Cherry June Lim is a seasoned technology and cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in digital transformation, governance, and information security in the higher education sector. She currently serves as Director for Information Security and IT Operations Management at the Ateneo de Manila University, where she leads enterprise-wide initiatives in identity and access management, network modernization, and cybersecurity governance. Cherry has been instrumental in strengthening the University’s approach to risk management, compliance, and incident response, while also fostering a strong culture of cybersecurity awareness across faculty, staff, and students. She champions programs that equip the academic community to recognize and respond to emerging threats such as AI-driven attacks, phishing, and deepfakes. With extensive experience in technology leadership, governance, and cross-sector collaboration, Cherry brings a strategic yet practical perspective on how universities can balance security, innovation, and accessibility in the digital age.
