Mrs. Abygail P. Magbag is an educational leader, curriculum innovator, and passionate EdTech advocate whose work bridges the timeless values of foundational literacy with the transformative potential of technology in 21st-century classrooms. With over a decade of experience in academic leadership, instructional coaching, and curriculum design, she currently serves as the Subject Head of the Junior High School English Department at PAREF Woodrose School in the Philippines. A proud alumna of the De La Salle College of St. Benilde, Mrs. Magbag holds a degree in Multimedia Arts, a Professional Teaching Certificate from the University of the Philippines Open University, and a master’s degree in Curriculum Design, Development, and Supervision from Saint Paul University Manila. She is currently pursuing her PhD, underscoring her unwavering commitment to lifelong learning, academic inquiry, and excellence in education. Mrs. Magbag has completed both the Leading People and Leading Learning programs under the Harvard Certificate in School Leadership and Management. As a Google Certified Educator Level 2 and a prospective Google Certified Trainer, she actively leads professional development initiatives, mentors teachers in digital integration, and promotes data-informed instruction and learner-centered pedagogies. Since 2020, she has been a panel discussant and Show and Tell speaker at EduTech Philippines and EduTech Asia, where she shares her expertise on curriculum innovation, online coaching for writing, technology-enhanced instruction, and teacher empowerment. She continues to collaborate in international forums and professional learning communities that advocate for educational transformation. Mrs. Magbag is also a published author of language workbooks for Grades 4 to 6, a writing coach, and a passionate mentor who champions learner agency, teacher responsiveness, and inclusive, values-based education.
