Zhuoming Liu, Instructor in Molecular Microbiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis

Zhuoming (Joemin) earned his Ph.D in 2015 at The University of Tokyo in Japan, where he studied molecular mechanisms of replication of Herpes Simplex Virus 1. After completing his Ph.D, he joined Dr. Sean Whelan lab as a postdoc to study host factors required for viral entry. Currently, he works as a research assistant professor at Dr. Sean Whelan lab at Washington University School of Medicine. His current research mainly focuses on predicting/profiling genetic barriers to resistance of antibody-based inhibitors by using VSV-Chimera virus.
