Noam Auslander, Assistant Professor, Molecular & Cellular Oncogenesis Program, The Wistar Institute

Noam Auslander, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Molecular & Cellular Oncogenesis Program at the Wistar Institute. Before joining the Wistar institute, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and in biology at Tel Aviv University, Israel, then earned her doctoral degree in computer science from the University of Maryland, and postdoctoral training from NCBI, NIH. The Auslander laboratory develops machine learning and computational methods to identify factors that drive cancer development and predict patients’ prognoses. The lab focuses on the development of methods to characterize new infectious agents in cancer and uncover new associations between microbiomes and cancer immune responses.
