Heather Platt, MD, is a distinguished scientist within Merck Research Laboratories. She completed her training in Internal Medicine at Rutgers/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. Over the past 10 years, she has worked across both Infectious Disease and Vaccines products in both early and late stage clinical research. In her current role, she leads the product development team for V116, an investigational pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.
