Ysaline ROLAND, MSc, Head of Bioprocess Department at Naobios, since december 2025, is in charge of planning and execution of process development and clinical manufacturing activities for virus-based products at lab, pilot and manufacturing scale. Previously she was Head of Production. Thanks to her highly experienced team, Naobios offers Process Development services aiming to deliver robust GMP ready processes for the production of viral vaccines, oncolytic viruses, viral vectors and human challenge agents. Optimized processes can directly be transferred inhouse into independent BSL2 and BSL3 suites, allowing the production of genetically modified organisms or live viruses under aseptic conditions.  Prior to Naobios, she worked for BE Vaccines (from 2013 to 2018) and Valneva (from 2009 to 2013) as Downstream Process Development manager and Downstream production engineer respectively. Before joining Valneva,  she was Junior Scientist at Molecular Genetics Center of CNRS in Paris. Ysaline holds a MS Diploma in Biotechnology from the engineering ENSTBB school in Bordeaux.
