Dr Yong Zu is a biotechnology executive and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience spanning drug discovery, biopharmaceutical R&D, corporate development and international business development. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and an MBA from the University of Manchester. Throughout his career, Yong has worked across innovative therapeutics, life-science tools and technology platforms, with particular experience in gene therapy, biologics and translational drug development. He has held R&D, commercial and strategic leadership roles within biotechnology companies and has extensive experience building collaborations between Chinese, UK and European life-science organisations.
