Dr Rajaram is a board-certified physician in both Pharmaceutical Medicine and Paediatrics, currently serving as Head of Global Medical Strategy at CSL Seqirus. With over a decade of leadership in global medical affairs, he has shaped strategic direction across seasonal and pandemic influenza portfolios, including novel platforms such as adjuvanted cell culture and samRNA vaccines. Prior to his current role, Dr Rajaram was the Global Medical Affairs Lead for Vaccines and Antivirals at AstraZeneca, where he led medical strategy across multiple regions including the US, Europe, LATAM, and Asia. He has held senior roles at GSK and the UK NHS, and has built and led high-performing medical teams, driven global KOL engagement, and contributed to licensing and business development initiatives. Dr Rajaram holds an MBA with distinction from Warwick Business School and chaired the Paediatrics and Vulnerable Populations subgroup at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and congresses, with a focus on influenza vaccine effectiveness, cell culture influenza vaccines, and paediatric immunisation strategies.
