Sandy Kimber, Research Leader, Infection and In Vivo Pharmacology, IQVIA Laboratories

Sandy Kimber, PhD is a Research Leader within IQVIA Laboratories' Preclinical Research team, specialising in infectious diseases and translational drug discovery. With a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Sussex and more than 20 years of experience across academia, pharmaceutical companies, and contract research organizations, she brings deep scientific expertise to complex research programs. Before joining IQVIA Laboratories, Sandy held roles at Microscience Ltd., KWS BioTest, and Charles River Laboratories. She also completed postdoctoral research at the University of Bristol, contributing to the development of a novel vaccine platform targeting Neisseria meningitidis. As IQVIA Laboratories' infectious disease subject matter expert, Sandy partners with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to design and deliver drug discovery programs while providing strategic scientific guidance that helps advance therapies from early research through preclinical development.
