Mr. LaBarre is an experienced global health expert with 28 years of Medical Technology experience across the innovation value chain including product development, clinical and implementation research, regulatory strategy, and market analysis. He has held key business development roles at prominent healthcare organizations including UNICEF and PATH. Most recently he was Senior Vice President, Access and Innovation for SightLife, the world’s leading eye bank. He also brings expertise in deepening collaborative partnerships with governments, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and for-profit corporations in more than a dozen countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. As a thought-leader in the Med-Tech sector, Paul is an author on 40 peer-review publications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, a Master of Medical Engineering from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
