Ilke has completed her studies of Bioscience Engineering in Cell- and Gene Biotechnology. She is currently working as a postdoc in the Lab of Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology and has more than 10y experience in the field of the human airway microbiome with a strong focus towards translation towards the clinic. She is member of the board of directors of the pharmabiotics research institute and is one of the founders of a recent incorporated company focused on the development of live biotherapeutic products for respiratory and women’s health.
