Frédéric Debellut, MSc, is a senior health economist for the Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access at PATH where he is responsible for the design and conduct of economic analyses with the objective to generate and translate economic evidence that informs donor investments, global policy and country introduction decisions. Over the past years, he has supported national teams in over 40 low- and middle-income countries in undertaking economic evaluations, including estimating the cost to introduce HPV and TCV vaccines, evaluating the cost-effectiveness of rotavirus vaccines, and assessing the economic burden of acute diarrhea and typhoid fever. He has developed models forecasting demand for vaccines against Meningitis A, rotavirus, seasonal influenza and typhoid. Most recently he has developed vaccine cost calculators, simple tools allowing decision-makers to compare the cost of different rotavirus and pneumococcal vaccine products. Mr Debellut holds a Master’s degree in Health Economics from CERDI, a Research Center on International Development affiliated to CNRS, the French Center for National Scientific Research.
