I am the Nanomedicine Alliance Manager for Europe with Cytiva, my role is focused on advancing Cytiva’s LNP-platform and drug-development services with drug developers in Europe. I leverage over 10 years’ experience in nanomedicine vaccine development. I completed my PhD in 2016 from the University of Glasgow on the improvement of bacterial vaccines for respiratory pathogens. After completing my PhD, I worked for several years for a biotherapeutic start-up company developing nanomedicine treatments for various respiratory diseases, my role concerned advancement of the company’s formulation design, CMC activities and pre-clinical testing. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I took up a position with Cytiva on the development of their saRNA-LNP vaccine programme and since 2022 I have been assisting our customers in Europe access our LNP technologies for advancement of their therapeutics.
