Dr. Chung-Yi Wu is the CEO, and a member of the Board of Directors of CHO PHARMA INC., where he leads the development of innovative glycoengineered biologics and glycoconjugate vaccines. Since joining the company in 2019, he has been instrumental in advancing CHO PHARMA's proprietary glycoscience platform from research to clinical developmnt while expanding strategic international collaborations. Prior to joining CHO PHARMA INC., Dr. Wu served as a Research Professor at the Genomics Research Center, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and holds over 40 international patents. His scientific achievements have been recognized with several prestigious honors, including the American Chemical Society David Y. Gin New Investigator Award and the Taiwan Bio-Devekopment Foundation Lecturer Scholar Award. His research focuses on the translation of glycoscience into next-generation biologics, including antibody glycoenhineering, antibody-drug conjugates, and glycoconjugate vaccines for infectious diseases and cancer. He currently leads the clinical development of CHO-V08, a first-in-class K1/K2 glycoconjugate vaccine targeting hypervirulent Klebsiella pneumoniae. At the World Vaccine Congress Europe 2026, Dr. Wu will present the first-in-human clinical eveluation of CHO-V08, highlighting its preliminary safety and functional immunogenicity results.
