Innovation is only meaningful if it reaches the people who need it. With more than 20 years of experience in clinical data management and eClinical technology, I work at the intersection of technology, clinical trials and global health. As Regional Director, Business Development (Africa, EU, APAC) at DFnet Research, I work with sponsors, CROs and research organisations to support clinical studies across diverse geographies. Based in South Africa, my work focuses on making clinical research technology practical and fit for the realities of emerging markets, where connectivity, infrastructure, regulatory diversity, data privacy and data sovereignty can fundamentally influence how a study is delivered. At DFnet, I am particularly involved in helping organisations navigate these challenges through secure, compliant and flexible eClinical solutions including EDC, eConsent, ePRO, eISF and clinical trial management technologies, while supporting approaches that allow organisations to maintain greater control over where and how their clinical data is hosted and managed. I am passionate about bringing the perspectives of emerging markets into the global conversation around clinical trial innovation and finding practical ways to make research more inclusive, connected and impactful.
