Dr. Arpit Agarwal is a physician and clinical research leader with 15+ years of experience in clinical development, medical monitoring, and pharmacovigilance, with a strong focus on vaccine and infectious disease research. Dr. Agarwal has provided medical oversight for Phase I–IV vaccine clinical trials across South Asia, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, with experience spanning recombinant BCG (rBCG), rotavirus, influenza, measles-rubella and COVID-19 vaccines. Currently, he is involved in pentavalent meningococcal conjugate, bivalent conjugate Shigella and typhoid conjugate vaccine development programs. His extensive relationships with vaccine investigators and clinical research sites across South Asia provide valuable insight into regional clinical practices, operational considerations and the successful conduct of vaccine studies. At Emmes, he leads Medical Affairs activities and brings together clinical science, patient safety, and operational expertise to support high-quality vaccine clinical development.
