Samar is an inventor & serial entrepreneur with 20+ years experience in Biomedical Sciences. He is Co-Founder of several Biotechs and Biomedical device /diagnostic companies (developed & commercialized capital biomedical instruments). Samar has published more than 200 papers and held Professorship at the University of Texas. Samar holds a PhD in Bio-Physics from the Indian Institute of Sciences-Bangalore as well as an M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi. He has vast experience in innovating and translating discoveries from lab to clinic, specifically mutation-agnostic gene therapy, successfully navigating through complex manufacturing and regulatory landscape. Samar served on editorial boards of journals and boards of several biotech companies.
