Police Lieutenant Colonel Narin Phetthong, Ph.D. serves as a Cybersecurity Expert at the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), Thailand. He specializes in advanced cyber initiatives, incident response strategies, digital forensics, and national security risk mitigation.
He formerly served for over 22 years in law enforcement and cybersecurity, holding key positions including Computer Crime Investigator for the Royal Thai Police and lecturer in the Faculty of Forensic Science at the Royal Police Cadet Academy. His career includes significant international experience, notably serving as a Cybercrime Specialist at the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore.
He graduated from the Royal Police Cadet Academy (Class 57) and the FBI National Academy (Class 268) in the United States. He earned a master’s degree in information Networking Computer Security from New York Tech, USA, and a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, USA.
He also achieved certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Cyber Crime Examiner (NW3C, USA).
