Pepijn Kok is Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Cyber Security at AIS (Advanced Info Services), where he leads the company’s cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and security operations. His role focuses on safeguarding critical telecommunications infrastructure, strengthening cyber resilience, and ensuring secure digital services for AIS customers and partners.
In parallel, he serves as Cybersecurity Advisor to the Secretary-General at Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), supporting national-level cybersecurity initiatives and policy development.
Pepijn brings more than 25 years of international experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, and IT governance across telecommunications, financial services, and consulting. Prior to joining AIS, he held senior cybersecurity and risk leadership roles at KPMG Thailand and PwC Thailand, advising organisations on cyber risk management, security strategy, and regulatory compliance.
Earlier in his career, he worked in senior roles at organisations including ABN AMRO Bank, Siam Commercial Bank, IBM, NTT Com Security, Standard Chartered Bank, and ING, where he led initiatives spanning fraud monitoring, operational risk management, technology audit, and cyber consulting across Europe and Asia.
He holds multiple industry certifications in cybersecurity and information systems governance, including CISM, CISA, GCFA, and GCIH.
