Clementine Mak is a Consumer Advisor for the Northern Sydney Local Health District, with a passion for improving healthcare experiences for patients and their families. Clementine seeks to ensure that the voices of consumers are heard and valued in the design, strategy and decision-making process within the health sector.
With a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a focus on continuous improvement, Clementine collaborates with healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders to drive positive change and enhance the quality of care delivery. Her expertise lies in advocating for better patient experience, access, health literacy, and fostering meaningful engagement between healthcare providers and the communities they serve.
Clementine blends her experience as a technology professional in enterprise people technology strategy and transformation, her current postgraduate studies in Digital Health and Data Science and lived experience as carer and parent, to inform her approach to consumer engagement. She is dedicated to driving positive, strategic and sustainable change in the healthcare sector, particularly leveraging new and emerging digital health solutions for healthcare equity. Clementine is delighted to be part of the panel for "Bridging the Accessibility Gap: Virtual Care for All Australians".
