Certi-fi Schemes Limited is home to two industry-leading initiatives that drive transparency, trust, and quality across the renewable energy landscape.

🔹 Energy Performance Validation Scheme (EPVS) Established in 2016, EPVS was designed to encourage lender re-entry into the renewables marketplace while boosting consumer confidence. By verifying the design, performance estimates, savings illustrations, and contractual details that our installer members present before sale, EPVS ensures that consumers receive realistic projections built on established industry methodologies. This not only reduces complaints and potential issues with finance providers, but it also actively supports increased sales for our Members through enhanced credibility.

🔹 Flexible Energy Oversight Registration Body (Flexi-Orb) Formally launched in June 2024 after a three-year beta phase, Flexi-Orb is the first renewables installation scheme to be recognised by UKAS to ISO/IEC 17067:2013. It includes the UK’s first accredited EV charge point scheme, alongside certification for solar PV and energy storage. Our heat pump scheme—developed through direct industry collaboration—will follow upon UKAS approval. Flexi-Orb stands as a trusted mark of quality and is listed on the DESNZ website as an accredited scheme.
