Mr. Dhiraj Shangari is an accomplished clean energy executive with 15 years of global experience in infrastructure and renewable power sectors, specializing in capital structuring of complex transactions, M&A, and securing project financing for multi-billion dollar projects. As Director of Development Finance at Northland Power Inc., he advised on strategic transactions exceeding C$16 billion across North America, Europe, and Asia, securing more than C$11 billion in non-recourse project financing for offshore wind, battery storage, and utility assets.

His achievements include spearheading major capital raises, corporate credit facility expansions, and securing award-winning renewable energy investments, including the 2024 M&A Deal of the Year recipient. Prior to Northland Power, he supported M&A and financial strategy at Brookfield Renewable Energy Group.

Mr. Shangari holds an MBA in Investment Management from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Ottawa, and is a CFA charterholder.
