Mr. Đỗ Ngọc Quỳnh is a well-known financial and investment professional in Vietnam with over 27 years of experience in banking and finance.

He is currently General Secretary of Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA), the non-profit organization where he was one of the key founding team’s members since 2009. 

He is also working as an independent director at a number of Vietnamese dynamic enterprises where he advocates for a better corporate governance and transparency in growing such enterprises. 

Previously, he worked as Deputy General Director at Sovico Group from 2022 to 2023, Chairman of HDCAPITAL Fund Management Company in 2023, Chief Executive Officer at VNDirect Securities from 2020-2022. 

Before that, he spent 22+ years (from 1997 to 2019) of working in BIDV head office in different positions including credit officer, FX&MM dealer, head of the currency trading dept, CEO of BIDV International Hongkong and head of treasury.
