Vera Pinto Pereira | CEO, EDP Comercial and Executive Board Member at EDP Group

Vera Pinto Pereira has been a member of the Executive Board of Directors of the EDP group since April 2018, where she heads the Client Business Platform and leads its decentralized solar business worldwide. Vera also oversees Innovation, branding and social impact for the Group, is the President of the EDP Foundation and member of the Board of EDP Spain, EDP Brazil and EDP Renewables.
Prior to that experience, in 2014, she was appointed Executive Vice-President and Managing Director of Fox Networks Group for Spain and Portugal. In 2003, she joined the Telecommunications sector as the TV Service Director at TV Cabo Portugal – PT Multimédia (today NOS) and was later appointed TV Service Director at MEO, Portugal Telecom (today Altice). Vera began her professional career in consulting at Mercer Management Consulting (today Oliver Wyman) and after completing her MBA she became a founding partner of Innovagency Consulting. She graduated and post-graduated in Economics by Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
