Polyvios is passionate about making transport in London more reliable, efficient and sustainable. He has 20 years’ experience in the sector, with a PhD in transportation and experience in the private, public and third-party sectors. He previously led policy making and strategy development on emerging transport models, such as autonomous vehicles, oversaw the development of strategies such as London’s 2030 Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Strategy and London’s first ever Cargo Bike Action Plan, and headed up TfL’s Freight Policy team. At Business London, Polyvios is the Transport Programme Director leading on policy development, advocacy and communications on capital’s transport to shape its future so Londoners and businesses prosper.
