Marcus is Partner and CEO at BMW i Ventures since 2018. In this role, he is responsible for the business strategy of BMW i Ventures and the successes of the fund. Prior to joining BMW i Ventures in August 2018, Marcus spent five years with BMW Vehicle Development in Munich in the position as Vice President User Experience (Control Panels, Ergonomics). Before Marcus joined BMW, he worked seven years as Head of European Operations at JD Power. He spent seven years with Mercedes-Benz in various project management roles and was a Business Development Specialist at Herlitz PBS for three years.  Marcus holds a degree in Management and Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and an Executive Degree in Venture Capital from UC Berkeley – Haas School of Business.
