Jorgen is an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) professional with a strong background in mathematics, software development, and electro-mechanical design. He has led the delivery of several award-winning projects, including advanced traveller information systems for London and San Francisco, Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions, and autonomous vehicle initiatives. Jorgen has served as the Vice President for Innovation for a leading US consultancy, and is now serving as the technical architect and programme manager for MaaS solutions in Nottingham and Derby. He previously held the position of Sector Director of Transport Technologies at SYSTRA, where he designed a number of autonomous vehicle projects for a European airport, which are now in operation.
Throughout his career, Jorgen has worked on Smart City projects, on-demand transport systems, and Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) solutions across global cities such as Calgary, Tokyo, and Sydney. As the Head of Real-time at Transport for London, he was the technical architect and designer for the London Journey Planner and pioneered predictive multi-modal data delivery.
Jorgen is also a published thought leader, contributing articles on future transport technologies, future mobility, the role of future fuels, congestion mitigation strategies, congestion charging, and ITS strategies.
