Chase has over 10 years of management and leadership experience with expertise in delivering highly visible products and strategic business opportunities. Having spent most of his childhood in Australia, he calls Brisbane home. It was there where he initially pursued his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, but left early to pursue an opportunity at Uber, where he quickly progressed from an intern at Uber Eats in South Africa, to the Head of Strategy for Uber Eats MENA. Chase’s role at Careem is focused on building one of Careem’s fastest growing verticals, Careem Groceries. On a mission to simplify customers’ lives and give them time back to spend on the things that matter, Chase and his team look closely at how they can make grocery shopping radically easier for customers as a small first step on that journey. Since joining Careem, he has played an integral role in many significant projects, including establishing Careem’s grocery business, launching Careem’s ultra-fast dark store network, as well as leading Careem Box, and the rollout of Order Anything across the region.
