Jeff Stephens is a Managing Director in the EY US Government and Public Sector practice in Washington, DC, bringing 30 years of experience in developing and delivering innovative identity solutions for U.S. Federal and international government clients. He began his career as a software developer on early traveler biometric systems at the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and has since served as a lead solutions architect on a diverse range of award-winning federal identity solutions. With extensive expertise in identity at the border, Jeff has played a pivotal role in pioneering projects such as the first implementation of SENTRI, leading the CBP pedestrian reengineering and multi-modal biometric field tests, and currently supporting the rollout of face-on-the-move technology for traveler processing. He previously served as the lead architect for GSA's USAccess managed service for PIV and continues to lead the development and delivery of digital identity and enterprise ICAM systems for federal clients.
