James leads the operations value stream and biometric technology at YVR, driving innovation in digital identity and seamless, secure passenger journeys. He has led pioneering implementations of airport self-service and identity technologies, including self-service passport control for both Canada Border Services and U.S. CBP, Canada’s first use of self-sovereign identity for passenger boarding, and YVR’s first deployment of TVS in support of U.S. CBP’s foreign boarding program. Through this work, James is helping shape the future of digital identity and frictionless travel in the aviation industry.
