Appointed CEO of the Nyangatjatjara Aboriginal Corporation and Principal of Nyangatjatjara College  located near iconic Uluru. Working collaboratively and productively with Anangu communities and key stakeholders to build an inclusive vision education for 2 Way education from the Eraly Years to Post Secondary. The role offers strong potential to harness the unique cultural knowledge assets and aspirations of Anangu peoples through use of digital tools and meld these within both local and global contexts providing the basis for students, staff, community and visitors to learn from each other, become more informed, and more connected. Paul and colleagues continue to investigate and apply the transformative benefits that immersive technologies and AI bring to schooling, education and community sectors. He is active in the University’s Centre for Change and Complexity in Learning investigating and leading teams in the applied use of Futures Technologies, AI and Learning Analytics in school-based learning designs that improve educational engagement and social justice through professional learning and research programs tailored to students, teachers, school leaders and their school communities. He is also involved in the Australian Research Centre for Interactive and Virtual Environments leading co-design projects that position participants as ‘citizen scientists’ in school communities using virtual and augmented realty technologies to tell authentic stories of inquiry.
