Mitchell is currently in his third year of teaching and is thriving in his role as the STEM Coordinator at Shellharbour Public School in 2025. Passionate about integrating technology into the classroom, Mitchell has spearheaded innovative initiatives to enhance student engagement and digital literacy. One of his proudest accomplishments has been launching the Shelly Update—Shellharbour Public School’s very own podcast. More than just a school project, The Shelly Update reflects Mitchell’s commitment to providing students with authentic, creative opportunities to communicate and produce texts using modern media. While the podcast has only released two episodes so far, it has already made a positive impact, resonating with both the school and its wider community. Mitchell continues to explore ways to embed educational technology in meaningful, student-driven ways, helping shape the future of learning at Shellharbour Public School.
