Leigh is an experienced executive leader, currently Information and Technology Executive at Brisbane Catholic Education, overseeing all digital, information and IT infrastructure for 146 schools and 9 offices, as well as providing multiple systems and support for another 30 schools in Cairns’s dioceses. Leigh’s career started as an IT teacher, and Assistant Principal, and since held positions in both public and private organisations as CEO, Executive Director, Director, Assistant Director, and COO.  As a passionate, published researcher and advocator in digital technologies and education, Leigh has led keynotes and workshops around the world on digital transformation. Leigh has experience in both state and national representative and advisory groups such as NAPLAN Online, QLD Education IT CIO group and National AITSL Advisory Committee. She has led state and national digital transformation programs and provides professional mentorship to early-career women in IT. She holds multiple post-graduate qualifications in Education, IT, Leadership, Management, Business and has completed study with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
