Assistant Prof. Ts. Dr. Siti Azreena Mubin is an academic and researcher specializing in Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Metaverse and gamification. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor and XR Studio Lead at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU). Dr. Siti has led several high-impact XR projects in collaboration with industry partners, including the Korean Government (BIPA), FunIT, the National Museum, Tune Protect Group, and Advance Pact Sdn. Bhd. She also heads the Data Analytics and Entertainment Technology Application in Education Research Cluster at APU. Among her notable academic collaborations is a project with the IMU University developing an AR/VR educational tool for microbiology skills training. She holds a PhD in Web Design and Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and is a registered Professional Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists. Dr. Siti is also a member of myHCI-UX (ACM SIGCHI Kuala Lumpur Chapter) and currently serves as secretary of the VR/AR Association (VRARA) Malaysia Chapter.
