Dr. Meliyanti is Head of the Subdirectorate of Teachers’ Capacity Building, Protection and Controlling, Directorate of Primary Education Teachers, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Indonesia. She is also a senior policy analyst at Indonesia’s Directorate for Primary School Teachers, specializing in teacher development policy, literacy, numeracy initiatives, and international cooperation. She has led sections on teacher performance and career assessment, teacher welfare, and competency enhancement, overseeing appraisal systems, data verification, regulatory inputs, and nationwide training programs. Since 2023, she has coordinated flagship efforts in literacy and numeracy, the Korean e-Learning Improvement Cooperation (KLIC), and micro-credential partnerships with universities and agencies in Australia and the United States, aligning these with GCED and the SDGs. Her academic foundation includes a Ph.D. (Business Administration/Human Resource Development) recognized from the University of Canberra, an M.M in Management from Universitas Indonesia, and a D4/S1 in Informatics Management from STMIK Gunadarma Indonesia. She has completed advanced policy and leadership trainings, among them Policy Advocacy and Functional Policy Analysis (LAN), Australia Awards short courses (University of Queensland), APCEIU’s GCED programs in Seoul, and KLIC LEADer Training, while engaging in literacy and numeracy collaborations with Teachers College, Columbia University, OHIO University (USA) and Monash University (Australia) Recognized with Presidential Medals of Service (Satyalancana Karya Satya X and XX years) and a 2024 national award for educational contributions, she also serves as an international speaker for KLIC forums. Her publications span teacher literacy development, curriculum implementation, and school readiness. Born in Jakarta, she balances a demanding public-service portfolio with personal interests in swimming, table tennis, travel, and lifelong learning. She was also involved in the Work Bank project at the Ministry of Education in 2015 for Better Education Through Reformed Management and Universal Teacher Upgrading. Additionally, before she worked at The Ministry, she also had experience working at PT. Satelit Palapa (Satelindo) in Indonesia for 5 years in the area of the Information Technology development department.
