The “SWEETIE” educational theory for innovation and technology developed by Dr Wan Zhihong draws inspiration from the four major periods of the Industrial Revolution. This solution categorises innovation and technology into four distinct levels. Starting in 2023, Dr Wan integrated the SWEETIE teaching method and Learning Platform to create a series of curricula designed to enhance students’ cognitive abilities, inductive reasoning, expression skills, critical thinking, and the application of scientific knowledge—essential components of 21st-century skills. This integration prepares students for future challenges while fostering a robust learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
