Juanjo is a biochemist, microbiologist, and business developer in biotechnology. He’s the CEO and principal investigator in Vaxdyn, a vaccine developer headquartered in Spain. With support from CARB-X, the European Commission, and private investors, Vaxdyn has developed a unique vaccine technology platform targeting three of the deadliest bacteria, with the potential to generate a broad pipeline of vaccines, including combination products. The platform differentiates itself by focusing immune responses on highly conserved antigens, enabling broad strain coverage and supporting a single global product strategy across regions.
