ForgeBio is a protein engineering company specializing in next-generation vaccine antigens and biologics. We combine deep expertise in structural biology, immunology, and computational design with extensive pharmaceutical industry experience to create proteins with improved stability, expression, manufacturability, and functionality.
Our flagship technology is a growing portfolio of foldon-free prefusion-stabilized vaccine antigens for major respiratory viruses, including RSV, human metapneumovirus (hMPV), influenza HA and NA, and parainfluenza viruses. By leveraging our expertise in viral antigen design and vaccine development, in combination with our in-house AI-based design platform, we have developed next-generation antigens that maintain native structures while addressing critical development challenges such as protein expression, stability, and CMC requirements.
Alongside our proprietary vaccine portfolio, ForgeBio provides AI-based protein engineering solutions for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Using our in-house FORGE-AI (Framework for Optimizing Residues, Geometry and Energetics) platform, we identify and prioritize protein modifications that improve folding, stability, expression, and developability, accelerating the path from discovery to product.
Founded by scientists with extensive experience in vaccine discovery and pharmaceutical R&D, ForgeBio has worked across RSV, hMPV, coronaviruses, influenza, paramyxoviruses, filoviruses and other viral pathogens. We partner with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies through fee-for-service projects, co-development programs, strategic consultancy, and immunogen licensing.
ForgeBio combines AI-driven protein design with real-world vaccine development expertise to deliver better immunogens, faster and more efficiently.
