 Tim Obara is a seasoned biopharmaceutical executive with over 30 years of global experience spanning vaccines, oncology, and cell and gene therapy. He has held leadership roles across commercial, manufacturing, business development, and R&D strategy at companies including Merck, GSK, AstraZeneca, Amicus Therapeutics, and Genenta Science. Tim also played a key operational role at the University of Pennsylvania’s Gene Therapy Program, where he led the Vivarium team and secured AAALAC accreditation for a new facility. His career reflects a consistent focus on advancing transformative therapies, scaling innovation, and driving value through strategic partnerships and capital markets in both the U.S. and Europe.
