Reda Sadki is executive director of The Geneva Learning Foundation, a Swiss non-profit advancing digital transformation and artificial intelligence to strengthen immunization programs at scale.
He has spent over 30 years researching, developing, and implementing new ways to learn and lead, with a focus on peer learning for global health.
In 2016, working with the World Health Organization and the Gates Foundation, he launched the first online peer learning courses to support country adoption and effective use of global guidelines for routine immunization. This led to over 40 cohorts with WHO, with follow-up implementation support that proved to be seven more effective than conventional capacity building and technical assistance, at 90% lower cost.
In March 2020, Reda established the COVID-19 Peer Hub, in partnership with the Gates Foundation, connecting 6,000 immunization professionals across 96 countries to maintain vaccine services by crowdsourcing over 1,200 actionable solutions in 10 days. By the end of 2020, one-third of participants had implemented tangible improvements in service delivery, and began preparing for vaccine introduction.
In March 2022, he launched the Movement for Immunization Agenda 2030 (IA2030), a global network of more than 70,000 front-line and government immunization professionals from over 100 countries. This platform connects practitioners for rapid experience sharing, solution co-development, and AI enablement.
In 2023, working with JSI and Gavi, he played a key role in launching Gavi’s Zero-Dose Learning Hub to develop new, evidence-based paths to translate evidence into action.
Reda’s collaborative work features partnerships with a broad range of global, regional, and national actors. In 2024, he launched the Nigeria Immunization Collaborative, in partnership with NPHCDA, UNICEF, and Gavi. In July 2024, this peer learning initiative connected over 4,300 health workers and 600 organizations in just two weeks, recognizing the importance of local actors in solving immunization bottlenecks and challenges.
In 2025, he launched the first AI4Health framework, a new learning and leadership programme to help health professionals navigate the AI transformation to serve community and patient needs.
Reda writes on his blog redasadki.me about data-driven approach harnesses open-source analytics, integration with government systems, and deep partnerships to bridge policy and field realities, delivering scalable solutions for immunization coverage and resilience in challenging contexts.
