Gonçalo Farias is heading the analytical and innovation Hub at Aptar Pharma in France. Gonçalo holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Lisbon and a PhD in Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the University of Bath. During his doctoral studies, he specialised in the design and characterisation of orally inhaled and nasal drug products, with several publications in peer-reviewed journals. He brings over 10 years of experience in the development of complex orally inhaled and nasal drug products, with experience in analytical sciences, formulation, and device–product integration. His current work focuses on advancing innovative nasal drug delivery technologies.
