Technical Director of Health Supply Chain, Giovanna has over 20 years of experience in leading the design and implementation of robust end-to-end supply chain solutions worldwide. With a strong operational background in Pharma and Life Sciences distribution systems working at DHL, Giovanna has spent the last decade operating within the international development space, recently leading Crown Agents's health supply chain strategies and programs in some of the most fragile contexts in the world, such as South Sudan. Giovanna's experience in managing vaccine distributions encompasses governance, cold chain operational efficiency, technology innovation and human resource capacity building through technical assistance activities aimed at securing efficient, effective, economic and equitable opportunities for more resilient and sustainable supply systems.  As the focal person for all MHRA and GDP supply chain requirements, Giovanna has led various supply chain continuous improvement and innovation initiatives drawing on Lean/Six Sigma, Prince 2 and CIPS approaches and methodologies in challenging contexts.
