Rachit Mukkamala is a senior undergraduate at MIT studying Biological Engineering. His current research in Michael Birnbaum’s lab is focused on the development of a high-throughput platform for TCR sequence assembly. He previously worked in Forest White’s lab, where he used phosphoproteomics and machine learning tools to interrogate tumor-macrophage crosstalk, and he also completed a computational chemistry internship at D. E. Shaw Research. Rachit is currently the co-president of MIT Biotech Group, MIT’s largest life sciences-focused organization, and he has been involved in MIT Biotech Group since Fall 2021.
