David Setboun, Pharm.D., MBA, is Chief Executive Officer of PharmatrophiX, where he leads the company’s mission to develop innovative therapies for neurodegenerative and rare neurological diseases. With over two decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Dr. Setboun has held senior leadership roles at leading organizations including Eli Lilly, AstraZeneca, and Biogen, with a focus on neurology, clinical development, and corporate strategy. Dr. Setboun brings deep expertise in translational medicine, biomarker-driven development, and early- to mid-stage clinical trials, particularly in Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. He has a strong track record of advancing novel therapeutic approaches and building strategic partnerships to accelerate innovation in areas of high unmet medical need. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and an MBA, and is recognized for his leadership at the intersection of science, medicine, and business in the pursuit of transformative treatments for patients.
