Anne Bechet is a bio-pharmaceutical executive with over 20 years of experience in drug development, clinical strategy, general management, and project leadership. Anne is currently the Global Head of Clinical Development and General Manager for Europe and the USA at JCR Pharmaceuticals, where she leads a global team of clinical, regulatory, and medical professionals committed to advancing JCR’s pipeline for a group of rare genetic diseases known as lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs). She has a passion for patient-centric drug development and a firm believer that in order to deliver safe and more effective treatment options for rare diseases, that innovation starts with listening to patients, their families and their physicians. Previously, Anne held leadership roles at Vico Therapeutics, Orchard Therapeutics, and BioMarin. Her expertise spans CMC, Nonclinical Safety, and Clinical Development, with a strong track record of delivering milestones on global clinical programs and securing regulatory approvals. Fluent in English, French, and Dutch, Anne holds a post-graduate diploma in pharmaceutical research and project management from Université Montpellier I. Anne is French, has 2 children and lives in the Netherlands. In her spare time she loves horseback riding.
