Manish Kumar Sharma is Director — Network, Infrastructure & Data Center at Telenor Procurement Company in Singapore, where he leads global category management and strategic sourcing across Telenor’s network and infrastructure portfolio. His responsibilities span supplier strategy and selection, contract execution, Capex and Opex governance, demand planning and procurement across Telenor’s operating markets.

Manish brings more than 20 years of telecommunications experience spanning global procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, supply chain and infrastructure projects. At Telenor, he has progressed through Global Category Manager and Head of Tower Infrastructure Category roles before assuming his current position in 2025. He currently oversees categories representing more than USD 500 million in spend and leads cross-functional global category teams working with Telenor business units and group functions.

Prior to rejoining Telenor, Manish was Head of Sourcing for Smart City Projects at Indus Towers, where his portfolio covered telecom infrastructure, fibre and transport networks, 5G readiness, edge data centres and smart city solutions. He previously spent eight years with Telenor India and Uninor in sourcing and contract management leadership positions.

Earlier in his career, Manish worked across the telecommunications ecosystem with ZTE, Huawei and Siemens, giving him experience from operator, equipment vendor and infrastructure service provider perspectives. He began his career in telecom project delivery, including network rollout, supply chain and infrastructure deployment.

Manish holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration specialising in Operations and Supply Chain Management. His expertise spans network sourcing, global procurement, supplier management, commercial negotiations, infrastructure strategy and data centre procurement.
