Marcello Brescia is the Head of OTT & Edge Ecosystem at HGC Global Communications, where he focuses on developing infrastructure solutions for OTT platforms, ISPs, and content providers. Based in Hong Kong, he oversees edge computing, network connectivity, and system integration to enhance digital experiences across global markets.

With over four years at HGC, Marcello previously served as OTT & Edge Ecosystem Manager, working with teams in EMEA, the Americas, and Asia to expand content delivery capabilities. Before joining HGC, he was General Manager for Asia Pacific at BroadGroup, a division of Euromoney Institutional Investor, specializing in data center and telecom industry events.

Marcello holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Managerial Economics from Università degli Studi di Salerno and studied Economics at Universidad de Málaga under the Erasmus program. He is passionate about data centers, IP networks, and cloud technologies, continuously exploring new advancements in digital infrastructure.
