Balaji M.K is a global sustainability leader based in Bangkok, with over two decades of experience driving clean energy investments, climate finance, and energy access across Asia and Africa. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) and advises governments, donors, and private sector partners on decarbonisation and climate finance strategies.

At Deloitte Consulting, Balaji led flagship USAID programmes including SEA Smart Power and Power Africa, advancing energy efficiency, off-grid electrification, and renewable integration across Southeast Asia and Nigeria. His earlier roles span clean energy investment (FE Clean Energy Group), regional operations (Thermax), and academic teaching (Webster University).

Balaji’s work sits at the intersection of policy, finance, and implementation—helping bridge public and private capital for real-world climate impact.
