Dr. Chieanchuang (Audi) Kalayanamitr is Chair of Computer Engineering at the Council of Engineers Thailand (COE), where his work focuses on professional engineering standards, digital technology, and the development of Thailand’s computer engineering profession. He also chairs the Committee on Computer Engineering and Digital Technology, with responsibility for professional engineer examination frameworks in these fields.

He has extensive experience spanning engineering, telecommunications, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, technology policy, and business advisory. He is also a Board Member of the Engineering Institute of Thailand Under H.M. the King’s Patronage (EIT), where he has contributed to engineering standards, professional development, training, and policy guidance, including work related to computer engineering, cloud computing, and project and programme management.

Across his career, Dr. Kalayanamitr has advised and participated in public-sector initiatives involving telecommunications regulation, science and technology, infrastructure, national standards, and economic development. His previous appointments include advisory and committee roles with Thailand’s Parliament, Senate, National Telecommunications Commission, National Research Council of Thailand, and the National Science Council under the Prime Minister’s Office of Laos.

His industry experience extends from technology and engineering consulting to telecommunications, electronics manufacturing, cybersecurity, digital broadcasting, and energy. Earlier in his career, he held engineering and programme management positions in the United States with Varian, GTE, OMARK Industries, and Freightliner Corporation.

Dr. Kalayanamitr holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Greenwich and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Adamson University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Thailand and was recognised with an ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award in 2014.
