Suzanne Williamson, Director, Hub Control Center Mia, American Airlines

Suzanne Williamson leads our Integrated Operations Center teams in planning and executing the daily schedule for American. Her IOC teams coordinate the operational plan and disruption recovery across 6,000 mainline and regional flights carrying over 600,000 travelers each day. They include our IOC Directors, Sector Managers, Dispatchers, Coordinators, Air Traffic Managers, System Customer Service Managers, Central Load Planners, and Midrange Planning, all focused on delivering for our customers and team members by running a reliable operation as close to plan as possible, safely, and effectively. Before returning to IOC in 2022, Suzanne supported our Miami Hub as Director of the Control Center. Suzanne's prior roles within IOC included Duty Director, Manager Operations Efficiency, Sector Manager, Dispatch Air Transportation Supervisor, and member of Dispatch ASAP team. She holds an FAA Airman Certificate - Aircraft Dispatcher. Suzanne started her aviation career at New York JFK as a customer service agent for American Airlines. She gained experience in various roles above and below the wing, in station ramp control ops towers, and hub administration, as well as ground handling and load master for international partner carriers.
